Meet GCS at ISC High Performance 2021 Digital
Newsflash 09/2021 –

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the International Supercomputing Conference (ISC) will again be held in digital format only. The event will take place from June 24 to July 2, and the Gauss Centre for Supercomputing (GCS) will be there with a dedicated website and a virtual booth.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the International Supercomputing Conference (ISC), the largest annual high-performance-computing-focused event on German ground, will again be held as an online-only event. Called ISC High Performance 2021 Digital, the event will take place from June 24 to July 2, and the Gauss Centre for Supercomputing (GCS) will be there with both a dedicated website and a virtual booth.

At its website isc.gauss-centre.eu, GCS and its three members, the High-Performance Computing Center Stuttgart (HLRS), the Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC) and the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre (LRZ)—the three centres that make up GCS and together provide Germany’s wordl-class HPC infrastructure—will welcome the worldwide HPC community to provide its visitors insight about what is happening at the three GCS centres and how the centres are engaging with HPC’s newest trends . The virtual booth will also provide a comprehensive summary of how GCS representatives are contributing to the ISC21 conference program, helping ensure the ongoing success of Europe’s largest HPC event.

The annual ISC conference is well-regarded and well-received by the scientific community and has proven to be one of the leading HPC-focused events in the world. As a major supporter of the conference and exhibition, GCS has always contributed in a variety of activities to the success of ISC. Jointly with its member centres, GCS will continue this effort with this year’s digital version of the event. For a detailed overview of GCS’s participation in ISC21, visit our ISC webpage.
